So I thought it might be cool to have a feature whereby you can let people know that you're on the ZBP at the same time as them. I know the "who's where" function kinda does this already, but only if you happen to be listening to it, and even then, if you know your mates here, but they don't know you're here, then you can't set up a conference. So is there a way of sending a message to someone saying how about a conference, or I've just sent you a vm or whatever?
This isn't possible to do while someone is in a conference without also notifying everyone else in the conference. At least not currently.
But what if you're just scouting around in the "who's where" bit and you hear that your mate's in the voicemail bit? Is it just as difficult to send them a message allerting them that you're around?
that's why i check who's where right when i get in, and periodically throughout the duration of my call.
email them? or if they're loged in to the zone, pqn them? better still, leave them a voice mail. I mean, if there in their, they may here it, right? If you can't tell them that your loged in without the whole confrence knowing, isn't that a better way to do it if you want to private confrence with them?
I really liked the idea that Chris, Jess, Kev and myself were talking about the other day... Having some kind of buddy list, so at least then you can only check for the people that you actually want to speak too..... Smile
i missed that conversation but that is a great idea. would make listening to all the ones on who's where that i don't really care to know where they are go away!
